Problem
Solution
You cannot locate either the source course or destination course in your dropdown list.

One of the following scenarios may be causing your problem:

You are not enrolled as an instructor in either the source course or the destination course. If you need a destination course shell for an upcoming term, please request your course in my.tcu.edu. All steps required for this process & how to information are found on our Course Request Page. If you need to be added as an instructor to a source course shell, please have the faculty member of record for the source course contact us with permission.

Alternately, you have requested a full content copy into a destination shell that already has content / announcements / doc sharing items / etc. in it. You can try deleting all the pre-existing items and then requesting the full content copy again. If that is unsuccessful, you will need to follow the procedures for having selected the wrong source content for a full content copy, below.

Last, you are attempting to copy from a source course that is not a .NEXT course (the course is from prior to 2008). Please contact the eLearning office, and we will assist you.

The copy status says "Waiting". Please DO NOT attempt to re-copy the course. Copies can take up to 48 hours to process. If you feel your copy request is taking too long to process and there may be an issue with the request, please notify the eLearning staff.
The course status states "Failed" or "Unsuccessful". Please make a second attempt to copy the course. If the status shows failed or unsuccessful after the second attempt, please contact the eLearning staff.
The course status states "Completed with Errors" when attempting to make a full content copy. Please check your destination course to see if all content is there - this is sometimes a false error. If you are missing content, please contact the eLearning staff and provide the copy ID number. This number can be found on the View Copy Status page.
The course status states "Completed with Errors" when attempting to make a content item copy. Please delete the newly copied content item in the destination course and request the content item copy again. If you continue to get this error, please contact the eLearning staff and provide the copy ID number. This number can be found on the View Copy Status page.
You mistakenly selected the wrong source course for a full content copy.

Please contact the eLearning staff. There are a few options for resolving this issue, however, it is situation specific and requires a consultation. Resolution of this can take up to 5 business days.

You mistakenly selected the wrong source course items when making a content item copy. Please delete the newly copied content item(s) from the destination course and request the content item copy again.
The copy status says "Completed", but desired content or items are not visible in the destination shell. You did not check the individual boxes for the selected items (syllabus, webliography, doc sharing, etc.). If you were attempting to make a full content copy, you will need to follow the procedures for having selected the wrong source content for a full content copy, above. If you were attempting to copy specific content items, please try again. If you are not successful, please contact the eLearning staff.
You are attempting to copy individual items, but are unable to select the syllabus to be copied. There is already a syllabus in the destination course. If you wish to copy the syllabus from the source course, you will need to delete the syllabus in the destination course.

If you have additional questions or concerns, please contact the eLearning staff.
